Red Sky Pottery
This hands-on pottery experience offers a chance to slow down, center yourself, and connect with Santa Fe’s creative spirit. Hosted in a charming adobe studio on Upper Canyon Road, the atmosphere is relaxed, playful, and welcoming. All materials, tools, clay preparation, and cleanup are provided; aprons are available, though guests are encouraged to wear clothing that can get a little muddy.
The session begins with a wheel-throwing demonstration, followed by guided instruction as you take to the wheel yourself. Thanks to the intimate studio setting, the experience can be easily tailored for first-time potters and seasoned makers alike. Finished pieces are trimmed, glazed, fired, and shipped to you within 4–6 weeks. There is no limit to what you create, and shipping costs are kept as low as possible and calculated once all pieces are packed.
